Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate has its fingers in all the pies. There's no limit to what it will cross over with — we've got costumes based on Link, Mario, Luigi, and Sonic the Hedgehog, and even a weapon that resembles Don from Bandai Namco's Taiko no Tatsujin rhythm series. So why not throw a little Metroid in there?
As the trailer above demonstrates, you'll be able to equip your hunter in either Samus Aran's Power Suit or Zero Suit. But that's not all! Capcom must have felt that Samus' trademark arm cannon was too puny, so they've provided a comically oversized replacement as part of the Heavy Bowgun weapon class. Of course, you won't be limited to just the cannon while in Samus gear — you'll still have access to all the other weapons as well.
Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate arrives on 3DS in early 2015.
