A group of Star Citizen fans have made a short action movie featuring WIP/pre-alpha assets from the the upcoming which you can see below.
In the video, titled The Final Stand, we see gun battles and various environmental effects, including what looks like a laser smashing through rock.
Corporation Incorporated, the YouTube account which features the video, says:
"After receiving a distress call from the RSI Constellation 'The Sleeping Angel', the UEE has sent in a rescue team to investigate the wreckage and look for survivors. Reports indicate that pirate activity is likely in the area and that they might be using prototype microwave based weaponry."
It was recently revealed that funding for Star Citizen, which is in development for PC and Linux, had passed the $54 million mark. You can watch The Final Stand below.
