Fans have found pending additions in the code for DayZ.
The first thing they found were some hedgehog skins, and as this thread reveals, they are not quite sure what Bohemia Interactive plans to do with these hedgehogs. Some fans do speculate it’s just to add more animals to the game world. Others suspect they will be useful as food. There are also fans who believe that they may even be available as pets.
Other additions are a new vodka, with a new brand, Duma, a Swiss army knife style lockpick, a candle, a leather sewing kit, and a new type of battery. The usefulness of these items are more obvious, and overall, fans are happy with how development has sped up.
