The Evil Within: Bethesda Reveals Recommended Specs, All PCs Need 4 GB RAM

September 26, 2014 by Ryan Parreno

Bethesda did not share minimum specs and make no guarantees for performance below what they revealed.

Bethesda have revealed their recommended system requirements to playThe Evil Within.

These requirements are apparently not completely finalized, and Bethesda did not share a full minimum requirements list. All they revealed is that any PC should at least have 4 GB RAM, and they make no guarantees for performance on PCs below this. It is likely that when the game does get released on Steam, Valve, if not Bethesda, will give minimum requirements for the sake of their consumers.

·         64-bit Windows 7 or Windows 8

·         Intel Core i7 Quad Core

·         Nvidia GeForce GTX 670 or equivalent graphics card with 4 GB VRAM

·         4 GB RAM

·         50 GB hard drive space for installation

·         41 GB hard drive space for storage after installation

·         High Speed Internet Connection

·         Steam Account and Activation

On consoles, The Evil Within will require this much hard drive space:

·         PlayStation 3 7 GB

·         PlayStation 4 40 GB

·         Xbox 360 7 GB, mandatory install to the hard drive or a flash drive USB 2.0 and above

·         Xbox One 40 GB

What platform are you getting the game on? Let us know in the comments below.

The Evil Within will be released on October 14, for Windows, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
