NBA 2K15: How the Game Starts and Face Scanning in Action

September 23, 2014 by Stephen Daly

This time out you’re an undrafted player after your first season.

It was recently confirmed that NBA 2K15 will feature face scanning for custom characters on PS4 and Xbox One and now we get to see what a character will look like in the opening scene of the game.

NBA 2K15's starts with an undrafted player after his first season whose second begins not in October, but in January. This will likely make the experience harder but you will have a chance to pick and choose which team to play for.

You can watch the opening scene, in which the player learns he's undrafted and argues with his agent, below thanks to YouTuber Chris Smoove.

NBA 2K15 is set for release on PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One on October 7th and you can check out the game's recently detailed badges here.

What do you think of the changes 2K is making to shake-up the game's back story?
