A video has emerged thanks to YouTuber Andrea Ritsu of Final Fantasy 15's Tokyo Game Show demo with English subtitles which you can check out below.
The video begins with gameplay footage and uses developer debug mode so they can discuss what's going on during the demo. While it's said not to be "fun to play", the video is all about showing off the technical aspects of the game. Aspects such as camera control and the weather system are highlighted.
There have been some recent staff changes on the project, most notably director Tetsuya Nomura moving from Final Fantasy 15 to Kingdom Hearts 3. He's been replaced by Hajime Tabata who has revealed that development is more than 50 per cent done after two years.
Tabata said the graphics featured in the TGS demo should represent 70 per cent of the final product's looks.
Final Fantasy 15 is in development for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One while a demo is set for release early next year. You can check out the trailer with English subtitles below.
