The US television ad campaign for Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS has begun. We've already seen what the Japanese commercials are like; now let's check out how Nintendo of America handles thing.
This trio of TV spots casts various people in confrontational situations, like reaching for the last slice of pizza or trying to score the best seat on the bus. The only way to settle matters is by duking it out in the Smash arena. The best of the three is definitely the Little Mac one above, where some random businessman gets so into character that he even has a Doc Louis lookalike shadowing him. Most surprising is the commercial that features Mega Man — when was the last time Mega Man got any air time?
Naturally, none are as good as "Happy Together," but what is?
Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS arrives October 3. The Wii U version may arrive November 21.
