Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is set to ship with a co-op mode alongside its single player and competitive multiplayer modes, Sledgehammer Games’ Michael Condrey has revealed.
The developer took to Twitter today to answer questions about the upcoming mode, revealing simply that the game’s co-op mode would be announced sometime this month.
No one but the developers at Sledgehammer and Activision know how the co-op mode will play out—whether it’ll be mission-based like World at War’s, or simply horde mode like Ghost’s is anyone’s guess.
Condrey added that the trailer for the game’s co-op mode is inbound, and that it’s “hot”.
We’ll keep you up to date on the details as they become available.
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is slated for release on November 4, 2014 for the PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.
