Thomas Was Alone Listed for Xbox One, Wii U

September 16, 2014 by Ian Miles Cheong

The indie platformer has been listed for certification on new-gen platforms.

The puzzle platformer Thomas Was Alone has been rated for release on new platforms according to the German USK ratings board, where the game has been rated for the Nintendo Wii U and Xbox One.

Discovered by NeoGAF posters, the ratings are the first confirmation that the title, which was first released on the PC, will make its way to new generation systems. Though the PlayStation 4 isn’t among the rated listings, there’s a good chance that the game will also come out for the Sony new-gen console and that its rating may simply be awaiting final approval before the listing goes live on the USK website.

Thomas Was Alone was originally released for the PC and Mac in July 2012 and was ported by Curve Studios to the PS3 and Vita in 2013. There is also an iPad version that was released in May.

According to the game’s creator Mike Bithell, the game topped one million sales this past April, and sales look to keep on soaring as the game makes its way to new-gen platforms.
