Bloodborne’s Alpha is Inviting Players Right Now

September 16, 2014 by Stephen Daly

A ‘small-scale test’ is being carried out on the game.

Invitations are being send out right now by Sony for a "small-scale" alpha test of From Software's Bloodborne.

You can see an example of the invitation email for the PS4 exclusive game below. It's unclear how users are being selected but Sony says:

"Your skill and dedication have been recognised; you have been selected to join the exclusive Bloodborne Alpha Test! The small-scale test is being conducted in order to gather community feedback and data to improve Bloodborne’s online experience. The Bloodborne Alpha Test is not final. Players may experience bugs and incomplete features that do not represent the final product. Thank you for helping us create a better experience for all fans when the game launches early 2015."

Bloodborne is set for release in Japan on February 5th, 2015 but Western release dates have yet to be confirmed. You can find out everything we know about the game here, but hopefully we'll have more to share if and when details from the alpha emerge.
