Destiny Gets a Live-Action TV Advertisement

September 4, 2014 by Ian Miles Cheong

Watch the live-action spot of Destiny here.

With Activision poised to release Destiny in just a week, the Bungie-developed title has received a live action launch trailer to build upon the excitement and momentum leading up to the game’s release.

The spot, titled “Become Legend,” is directed by Joseph Kosinski, best known for his work on the Tom Cruise film Oblivion and TRON: Legacy, and features a Fireteam of Guardians on an action-packed road trip across the solar system to face the Darkness, take back what’s ours, and in the end, become legend.

The spot, which runs for two minutes in length, is set against “Immigrant Song” by Led Zeppelin.

A 90-second version of the trailer is set to debut tonight during the NFL season opener between the Seattle Seahawks and the Green Bay Packers.

You can watch the full version below.

The game comes out on September 9 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360. A PC version of the game is not planned.
