With Tokyo Game Show 2014 about to kick off, Capcom and other publishers are rallying to promote their video games ahead of the event through pre-shows and press conferences.
Today, Capcom officially unveiled Resident Evil: Revelations 2, the existence of which was leaked through the accidental publication of the game’s box art on the official Xbox website last week.
The survival-horror game will, like the first game, take the series back to its survival-horror roots and feature a completely new setting with new protagonists.
The game was announced for the PlayStation 4, as well as the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC for a 2015 release.
The original Resident Evil: Revelations was released for the Nintendo 3DS but was then ported to the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U and PC, where it enjoyed good enough sales to prompt the development of the upcoming sequel.
We’ll keep you up to date on the game’s development as more information becomes available.
