Dragon Quest is returning to Sony platforms after nearly a decade of Nintendo console exclusivity… in a fashion. Out of Sony's pre-TGS press conference comes Dragon Quest Heroes, a new spin-off by Koei Tecmo's Omega Force, the makers of the Dynasty Warriors series. After working on The Legend of Zelda, it seems the team is ready to tackle yet another all-star gaming license!
As with Hyrule Warriors, Dragon Quest Heroes' playable roster pulls from the entire history of the Dragon Quest franchise. You'll fight swaths of iconic monsters in real-time, battle a new villain… the works! However, this game is not to be confused with Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime — known as Slime MoriMori Dragon Quest 2 in Japan — an action-adventure title for DS that stars the gelatinous mascot of the Dragon Quest series.
Dragon Quest Heroes will hack and slash onto both PS3 and PS4 in 2015.
