Square Enix has released new footage for their upcoming high-definition remake of the second Kingdom Hearts game, with the release of a brand new trailer for Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix in anticipation of this year’s PAX Prime event, which takes place in Seattle, WA.
The Final Mix trailer highlights all of the extra features that are set to be included in the upcoming Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix, including new enemies and bosses like Roxas and the Monster of the Sea, “Monstro” never-before-seen cutscenes like “How It All Began” that offer deeper storylines, new playable episodes like “Realm of Darkness”, and new challenges including “Mushroom XIII” and “Unversed Challenges.”
The trailer also offers a sneak view at the 40+ new items that players will be able to acquire throughout their adventures in the game.
According to Square Enix, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix will be playable on the show floor at this year’s PAX Prime (Booth #3630) and will be available for the PlayStation 3 system on December 2, 2014. Fans that pre-order the standard edition of the game at participating retailers will also receive a free upgrade to the Limited Edition, which includes an exclusive Disney collectible pin.
