Leaked gameplay footage from what seems to be an early build of Assassin's Creed Unity has leaked online and while the trailer has been removed, we've been able to glean some new information about the game.
- The city streets seems to be as empty as ever but the setting in the city did not appear to be Paris so this could be a smaller city with fewer people. It has been suggested that this is the village of Versailles and Ubisoft has confirmed that one mission in Unity will feature 12,000 NPCs so it might be nice to get a bit of a break.
- Unlocking certain chests will require you to use the game's Companion App or AC initiates and can only be opened with special permission.
- There appears to be a new blending technique whick allows your character model to change into an NPC for a limited time. Assassin's Creed multiplayer modes in past games have featured a similar concept.
- Players can customise: head, chest, forearms, waist, legs, and cloak colour.
- The special boosters spotted are: "Deadly Booster: increases damage you inflict for 3 minutes", "Deadly Premium Booster: increases damage you inflict for 5 minutes", "Resilient Booster: significantly decreases the damage you take for 3 minutes", "Resilient Premium Booster: significantly decreases the damage you take for 5 minutes", "Unseen Booster", and "Unseens Premium Booster"
- The game will also feature dynamic rain.
