Super Ultra Time Force Gets TF2 and Left 4 Dead Characters

August 25, 2014 by Ian Miles Cheong

Zoey, Saxton Hale and Pyro are now a part of the Super Ultra Time Force.

Capybara Games is adding three new characters to their side-scrolling shoot-em-up Super Time Force Ultra, all of which will be playable on Steam next week.

The three characters being added are from Valve’s franchises Team Fortress 2 and Left 4 Dead, and include the Pyro and Saxton Hale from TF2, and Left 4 Dead’s Zoey. No word on whether they'll be adding the rest of the TF2 and L4D gang to the game, but we can only hope.

Pyro comes equipped with his iconic flamethrower and flare gun, giving him the power of flame over his opponents. Meanwhile, Zoey has taken a break from slaying zombies to take on hordes of human baddies—she wields two pistols and an endless supply of propane tanks which she can throw at enemies. And last but not least, Saxton Hale uses his massive muscles, bare knuckles and self-confidence to beat people into a pulp.

All three characters, along with 50 new Helladeck chalenge levels, and a new Ultra Force power mode, will be available in Super Ultra Time Force, which comes out on August 25—that’s today! The game costs $14.99 on Steam.

Concept art for the three characters can be found in the official blog post.
