Civilization: Beyond Earth Classics Bundle Includes Three Older Civilization Titles

August 22, 2014 by Ian Miles Cheong

Pick up and play Civ 3, Civ 4, and Civ 5 in the Classics bundle.

As Sid Meier’s Civilization: Beyond Earth gets closer to its release date, publisher 2K Games and developer Firaxis have announced a bundle that’ll give players a good time to rediscover the classics and reacquaint themselves with the series.

The publisher has just announced the Sid Meier’s Civilization: Beyond Earth Classics Bundle, which brings together future and past, allowing players to experience three classic Civilization games with the addition of Civilization: Beyond Earth.

The complete contents of the bundle are as follows:

Sid Meier’s Civilization III Complete (includes Civilization III, Civilization III: Conquests and Civilization III: Play the World)

Sid Meier’s Civilization IV

Sid Meier’s Civilization V

Sid Meier’s Civilization: Beyond Earth, plus the Exoplanets Map Pack

The bundle is available through participating digital partners, including Steam, and can also be pre-ordered through traditional retailers, where the bundle is priced at $69.99.

In addition to the Classics bundle announcement, Civilization: Beyond Earth’s co-lead designers Will Miller and David McDonough are planning to speak at DICE Europe this September, where they’ll be tackling how they are “Designing Beyond Historical Constraints.”

Civilization: Beyond Earth is set for release on the PC on October 24, 2014.
