It should come as little surprise that The Elder Scrolls Online, much like every other MMORPG out on the market, is losing subscribers. To get players back into subscribing the game, and as a way to thank existing subscribers for playing, Zenimax Online Studios has announced the Elder Scrolls Online Subscriber Loyalty Program, which rewards players who’ve subscribed to the game for a duration of time.
The loyalty program is very much like Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn’s loyalty program, which provides players who’ve subscribed to the game for a period of time with bonuses like free pets and mounts.
Beginning September, Zenimax and Bethesda will begin e-mailing all eligible paid subscribers with the first of the loyalty rewards they have planned. Every paid account that has been subscribed for three months, excluding game time included with your purchase of ESO, will receive a High Hrothgar Wraith vanity pet (seen in the screenshot above) that will follow you around and allow you to show other players your dedication to the game.
Accordingly, the loyalty program will keep expanding over time, as to reward long-time players for sticking with the game through thick and thin. The company says that the next reward will be granted for players who have subscribed for six months, which they plan on revealing very soon.
If you haven’t kept your subscription active, that’s okay too, because you’ll be able to get the rewards as soon as you meet the requirements.
