Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham is a thing that’s actually happening. It comes as no surprise that the game would be in development given the popularity of the first two games and pretty much all of the other Lego titles that were developed by Traveller’s Tales.
And today, TT Games has released a brand new trailer for Lego Batman 3, introducing Brainiac as one of the game’s lead villains. In the trailer, Brainiac takes control over Batman’s mind and turns him against his sidekick Robin.
Brainiac narrates the trailer, and he talks about how he’d like to take over the planet Earth. It’s up to Batman and the heroes of the DC Comics Universe to stop him from adding Earth to his collection of stolen civilizations.
Other characters from DC’s superhero franchise make various appearances throughout the trailer, including the Green Lantern, Lex Luthor and Wonder Woman.
Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham is slated for release this fall on the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Wii U, PS Vita, 3DS, and PC—so pretty much every platform.
