Rockstar is putting forth a new update for Grand Theft Auto Online, which brings the game up to version 1.16. It’s dubbed the San Andreas Flight School Update, and sees the addition of new air and land vehicles, aerial solo challenges, and a host of other activities for players to indulge themselves in.
In addition to the new vehicles and activities, the update is also set to introduce new changes to GTA Online, such as increased payouts for harder missions, and an extra GTA$ bonus for playing with other players. Rockstar hopes to increase co-op activity with the release of the patch, so players have more incentive other than “having a lot of fun with friends” to interact and play with other players.
There’s a video of the update and what it’s set to contain. Watch it below.
Further details are expected to surface about the so-called San Andreas Flight School Update tomorrow, when the patch is released for both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 platforms.
We can hazard a guess and suggest that all of the content in the patch, as well as previous updates, will make it into the new-gen release of Grand Theft Auto 5 and GTA Online once that game is out on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. As for when the game will come out is anyone’s guess at this point, however.
