Ubisoft has released a new Far Cry 4 trailer at gamescom that gives viewers a larger-than-life look at Kyrat, the locale in which the vast majority of the game is set, by offering a lengthy two-minute tour of some of the game’s most prominent environments.
The “beautiful brutality” of Kyrat spans mountain peaks and valleys, and everywhere in between, where avalanches are common and the environment is populated by lots of angry wildlife.
A slightly shorter version of the trailer was released this past Tuesday in lower quality, so here’s the real deal. Given how many trailers studios have put out over the course of gamescom, don’t be surprised if you managed to miss this one when it first went up.
The newly released trailer shows a bit more of Shangri-La, a mythical world in which the rules of reality do not apply, but where there are still consequences to your actions. You’ll fight alongside a white tiger and face off against demons. It is unknown whether this is the part of Far Cry 4 that is set to take place "outside" of Kyrat.
Far Cry 4 is set for a November 18 release in North America and a November 21 release in Europe. It comes out for the PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.
