Shadow Realms is BioWare’s Answer to Evolve and Fable Legends

August 13, 2014 by Stephen Daly

BioWare has announced a four-vs-one player online game after several teasers.

BioWare has announced Shadow Realms, a PC-only online game which is being developed at BioWare Austin.

The game is set in modern times but features fantasy characters with magical powers and players can team up with as many as three friends to take on a player-controlled enemy known as the Shadow Lord. Lionhead and Turtle Rock are exploring the same concept in Fable Legends and Evolve.

We don't know when the game will be released but a closed alpha has been announced for next and you can sign up for it here. The announcement was made today at EA's gamescom press conference following a series of teasers.

BioWare also released a new trailer for Dragon Age: Inquisition and detailed the additional content coming to Star Wars: The Old Republic in the coming months. There was no word on the next Mass Effect during the show.
