Bethesda and Tango Gameworks’ upcoming survival horror title The Evil Within, also known as Psychobreak in Japan, is only a couple of months away from release. Today at Gamescom, Bethesda has announced that The Evil Within is set to have a DLC Season Pass, which implies that there’s going to be some DLC for the game.
According to Bethesda, The Evil Within Season Pass will allow you to “experience survival horror from a new perspective,” in which players will assume the role of The Keeper (aka Boxman) in a “sadistic collection of mission-based maps.”
The game’s second and third add-ons will take players further down a path of madness in a two-part story-driven experience in the role of Juli Kidman, Sebastian Castellanos’ rookie partner from The Evil Within. There, players will encounter new weapons, discover a bizarre host of enemies, and uncover new areas that reveal “hidden motives and harrowing evil.”
The DLC Season Pass is priced at $19.99 and offers savings for the three planned add-ons for the game, that can be purchased separately.
The Evil Within will launch on October 14 in North America and on October 17 in Europe. It’ll be out for the PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4—every platform short of the Wii U, basically.
