Sleeping Dogs Definitive Edition Confirmed for PC, PS4, and Xbox One

August 8, 2014 by Stephen Daly

The updated version of the Hong Kong crime thriller is set for release in October.

Update: Square Enix has now confirmed that the port is headed for PC, PS4, and Xbox One on October 10th. You can watch the announcement trailer below.

Original Story: Amazon has listed Sleeping Dogs Definitive Edition for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

The online retailer says the game is coming on October 14th for the two consoles and pre-ordering will net you a limited edition artbook packaging as well as 28 pages of concept art.

Sleeping Dogs' listing states that this is "The definitive edition of the critically acclaimed open world action-adventure rebuilt specifically for next-gen consoles including all the previously released DLCs valued at $85."

While Square Enix has yet to officially confirm the game, it looks pretty legit and we'll update this post if we receive confirmation. The company released Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition earlier this year so it wouldn't be too surprising in they followed up with Sleeping Dogs.

We awarded the last-gen version of Sleeping Dogs 8.4 in our review.
