Enjoy the Music of Final Fantasy with These Theatrhythm: Curtain Call Videos

August 5, 2014 by Tony Ponce

Square Enix has been releasing these ‘Legacy’ trailers in advance of the game’s September release.

This September, Square Enix will release Theatrhyhtm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call on 3DS. To properly hype fans up, the company has been steadily releasing "Legacy of Music" trailers that showcase many of the various tunes pulled directly from their source games. The latest video above celebrates the sounds of Final Fantasy VIII through X.

The sequel / update to 2012's Theatrhythm contains all that the original had and more. It will feature 221 tracks, a number that includes all the songs from the first game's card plus all its DLC plus around 100 new ones — that doesn't even consider the new DLC tracks, either! Only one song didn't carry on over: "Somnus," the theme from the upcoming Final Fantasy XV.

Below are "Legacy" videos for FFI–III, FFIV–VI, and an FFVII trio that includes the original game, Crisis Core, and Advent Children. Check 'em out in advance of Curtain Call's release on September 16.
