It seems there is a leak for the other Assassin’s Creed game, coming out alongside Assassin’s Creed Unity, and intended for Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and maybe Wii U. Introducing Assassin’s Creed Rogue.
Everything we know about this game comes from a leaked trailer, which seems legit since it has been taken down a few times. Assuming the trailer is true, 7th generation console owners are up for quite a tale.
The trailer features a Templar, in the trappings of an Assassin’s clothes, walking through the ice towards an Assassin. They seem to talk, and the Assassin seems to be asking for help, but the Templar, who has dropped his sword in favor of his hidden gun, now raises his gun towards him instead. I would also point out, as you can see in the screencap I handpicked, that there is a ship in the background.
Immediately after showing the logo, we get pics of what are presumably pre-order bonus or DLC missions. There is The Siege of Fort De Sable Mission, and The Ultimate Hunter Pack, with pictures of a pair of swords, a black ship, and a ship’s wheel. The trailer ends with a release date of November 11 for Xbox 360.
Of course, the trailer raises more questions than answers. You’re playing a Templar now? Or maybe a double agent? With his own ship? Is this like the ‘Mirror, Mirror’ for Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag?
Whatever the case, I must confess, this sounds way more compelling than what Assassin’s Creed Unity promises, large open world aside. I look forward to seeing this game confirmed and more details to be revealed.
