We have a nice little video for all you Bloodborne and Dark Souls fans.
As you can see here, this enterprising fan customized his Dark Souls 2 characters to look like the characters in the leaks and trailers for Project Beast, AKA Bloodborne.
The customization is clever, capturing the distinguishing overcoat, hat, boots, even the weapons. We haven’t seen the face of the protagonist yet, so the one this fan made was done with artistic license, and perhaps a dab on tongue-in-cheekiness.
Of course, we expect Bloodborne’s playable characters to be much different from those in Dark Souls, in terms of background, abilities, the weapons they wield, even down to the technologies that are available to them.
We do expect to see a gameplay demo for Bloodborne in Gamescom, regardless of how far along the game has gone. We do expect that From Software has been at it for a while, so we would be surprised if this demo shows telltale signs of lower than expected framerates and resolutions. It is what we expect from Playstation 4 games, and Bloodborne is expected to deliver.
