Hyrule Warriors: Link and Zelda Get Ocarina of Time Costumes

July 31, 2014 by Tony Ponce

Also, check out the high-octane Japanese TV commercial.

New playable characters weren't the only nuggets imported from Ocarina of Time into Koei Tecmo's Hyrule Warriors. Both Link and Zelda will be able to don costumes to resemble their Ocarina of Time incarnations, similar to how they can dress up in their Skyward Sword and Twilight Princess attire.

As the game's website discusses, these costumes will be downloaded via code supplied with the Premium and Treasure Box editions in Japan. There's currently no word on whether or not they'll be included with standard US copies, if you'll have to buy them separately, or if we'll also receive a special edition of our own. I'd love to rock that scarf, I'm not ashamed to admit!

Hyrule Warriors will drop on Wii U on September 26, but Japan is getting it in just 14 days. They've already got a TV spot over there, which you can watch below. It's pretty intense!
