Players will be able to take on the role of Rocket Raccoon and his group of intergalactic superheroes from Guardians of the Galaxy in the upcoming Disney Infinity 2.0, executive producer John Vignocchi announced during a recent San Francisco press event.
The Guardians of the Galaxy is set to appear inside Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes as a standalone playset that players will have to purchase in order to take on the roles of any of the five characters from the setting.
The playset is being developed by Studio Gobo, which worked on the Pirates of the Caribbean set.
Like every other character in the game, the Guardians of the Galaxy characters will each have their own set of special moves, and players will be able to customize their Toy Boxes with Guardians-themed armor, items, and assorted gear.
