Big Hyrule Warriors blowout today! We've already caught wind earlier this morning that Shiek, Darunia, and Ruto from Ocarina of Time will be playable characters in Koei Tecmo's beat 'em up. Now we have this new weapons trailer that features the latest tool in Link's bag of tricks: the Power Gloves.
With the Power Gloves equipped, Link can lift enemies and objects, dig into to earth to surprise foes from below, launch electric shocks, pull up giant black obelisks from the ground to swing like a baseball bat, and wield the Ball and Chain from Twilight Princess. In the trailer, we also see him tackling Skyward Sword's Imprisoned while an incredible rock rendition of "Ballad of the Goddess" plays in the background. Amazing!
Hyrule Warriors is on track for a September 26 release on Wii U.
