At long last, we have a point of comparison for The Last Of Us as it appears on Playstation 3 and Playstation 4.
As you can seee from these screenshots, the leap in graphical quality is indisputable. If jaggies and other imperfections are still issues with the Playstation 3, those are gone on the Playstation 4 version.
You will also want to remember how Naughty Dog came about the port. It almost looks like the PS3 version was gimped graphics wise, but that wasn't how these two versions came about. Naughty Dog took the original PS3 code and improved it for the PS4. As you can see, they are doing a really good job with it.
Now, regarding framerate, I still have questions about needing a 30 FPS lock when they were going for a steady 60 FPS, but at least in one area we are assured the game is going to be better on Playstation 4.
The Last of Us Remastered is coming to PlayStation 4 on July 29.
