There is a batch of information for Assassin’s Creed Unity, some old, some new, but all confirmed since it’s coming from UK retailer Game. We’ll just put a sharp focus on the new stuff, since it is worth reading about.
The game will not have horses, because using one does not gel with Ubi’s design choices, as well as their interpretation of what Revolutionary Paris is like. They have made Paris densely populated, so using a horse to get around the city would be impractical. Furthermore, the city is also dense in side missions and objectives. The devs do not want you to miss this stuff.
Speaking of the missions, Ubi has put forward radical changes to how main and side missions can be entered into. Basically, you can go to places where you can accomplish both main and side missions seamlessly, so you can choose to divert to a side mission anytime you want, as long as you’re there when it happens. We do not know if the missions are procedurally generated, but from the sounds of it, this is definitely a possibility.
Finally, this is a small aside, but Arno’s hood is pointed. Ubi deliberately made the point small, but it’s definitely there, and maybe it is something you will want to look for when you get the game on your top-of-the-line PC or console.
Interesting details, right? Assassin's Creed Unity is set for release on October 28th for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
