H1Z1 Dynamic Weather System Teased in GIF

The upcoming zombie sandbox game from Sony Online Entertainment, H1Z1, is set to feature changing weather and climate effects. To prove it, here’s an animated GIF showcasing the game’s changing weather.

In addition to dynamic weather, SOE graphics programmer Ryan Favale discussed notable bugs about the upcoming title while talking about his role in H1Z1. 

"That's my main job on H1Z1, to bring as many weather conditions and effects and environmental immersion as possible," Favale said, who added that it may be possible for the game to feature hurricanes, tornadoes, and dust storms, although he couldn’t promise that they would be in the game.

It’s not known whether H1Z1 will actually introduce a temperature system like the Kickstarted indie game, The Long Dark, is poised to do, but it’s certainly on the list of wanted features that gamers are requesting from SOE.
