We have new details on Dragon Age: Inquisition. If you’re the kind of Dragon Age fan thinking of Qunaris and relationships, this is the stuff you want to know.
Do you guys like Iron Bull? Do you like Freddie Prinze Jr? Do you like imagining Prinze voicing Iron Bull, or vice versa, or things like that? OK.
Fittingly enough, it was at GaymerX that Bioware revealed that Iron Bull is a romance option, no matter what gender or race you give to the Inquisitor. Some fans may remember from the lore that the Qunari do not look kindly to people not of their own kind, but, of course, Iron Bull figuratively and literally swings a different way from his brethren. We’re also sure, however your relationship turns out, that it won’t affect the Bull’s basic ability to play tank for the team.
What about you as Qunari? If you choose to be a Qunari Inquisitor you will be a Vashoth. No, not Tal-Vashoth, but Vashoth, someone who literally was never introduced to the Qun. This basically served as an out for Bioware to let you do whatever you want (rather than be tied down by the rules of the Qun).
Your last name as a Qunari Inquisitor is Adaar, which means…. Mary Kirby came up on Twitter to explain this tidbit. Contrary to what most people think, Adaar doesn’t mean weapon, but ship-mounted cannon. Make sure to drop your jokes and innuendoes in the comments, guys.
It is a little weird to think about the Qunari in this way though, don’t you think? Older fans may remember that the Qunari were originally, for all intents and purposes, devils in the Dragon Age universe, and the whole idea of the Qunari came about due to copyright issues.
Dragon Age: Inquisition is coming out for the PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3 and PS4 on October 7, 2014.
