Did you know that what little we’ve seen of the new Star Wars: Battlefront was taken from within the game’s engine and not CGI? Well, now you do. Footage of the upcoming game was shown at E3 2014.
The folks at Battlefront News on YouTube have put together a detailed video which compares the graphics between the older Star Wars: Battlefront 2 and the upcoming Star Wars: Battlefront title from DICE, with detailed comparisons between the game’s stormtrooper model, Hoth, the AT-ST model, and more.
The comparisons of images and gameplay from Star Wars Battlefront 2 and in-engine footage from the upcoming game shows an immediate difference and we can see how the game’s visuals have come a very long way since the original Battlefront releases.
As the channel notes, “This is very early in-engine footage, so if it is this good already, then next year when we are shown much more of the game, it will probably be absolutely orgasmic!”
