Bethesda has released a brand new trailer of id Software's upcoming first person shooter, RAGE. This is the second video in the company's six-part, behind-the-scenes series for the game, which discusses the destruction of the fictional world of RAGE.

"RAGE is more than just a first person game. It's a complete experience."

According to the game's background lore, the asteroid of Apophis hit planet Earth, but not before the governments of the world initiated a program called the Eden Project. Much like the Vault program in the Fallout titles, the player from the underground as the sole survivor of the Ark you are from.

The player's character has no name or a face, allowing the player to add his or her own identity to that character. Your first task is simply to survive.

Rage is set for an October 4th release on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
