Web Series Street Fighter: Assassin’s Fist to Get Special Screening in Japan

July 10, 2014 by Tony Ponce

The entire series will be viewed on August 2 in Shibuya.

Capcom's Street Fighter live-action web series, Assassin's Fist, aired in full online on May 23. If you happen to live in Japan, you'll be treated to a very special one-night-only viewing of the entire series. Dengeki Online, as interpreted by Siliconera, has revealed that every episode will be played back to back at the Human Trust Cinema in Shibuya.

Assassin's Fist was directed by the team of Joey Ansah and Owen Trevor, who had previously created another Capcom-sponsored short film called Street Fighter: Legacy. After two failed attempts at live-action Hollywood cinema, the Street Fighter series seems to have finally struck gold with this fan-made, Capcom-approved production. It's a shame that its theatrical run is so hilariously limited.

You can watch the entire series on YouTube below.
