Signourney Weaver and other members of the original 1979 Alien movie are set to appear in two Alien Isolation missions, publisher Sega has announced.
However, you will need to pre-order the game to unlock these missions the first of which is called 'Crew Expendable' and casts players as either Yaphet Kotto's Parker, Tom Skerritt's Dallas, or Sigourney Weaver's Ripley as they journey through the Nostromo and track down the alien.
The second mission is entitled 'Last Survivor' and see players Ripley's boots as she attempts to activate the Nostromo's self-destruct sequence.
While Crew Expendable is available to everyone who pre-orders, Last Survivor appears to be retailer-specific though it's unclear at this point which stores will be offering the mssion.
“Working with the original cast has been an incredible experience,” Alistair Hope, creative lead on Alien: Isolation, commented in a press release. “It was important to us to have the key original cast members reprise their roles in order to perfectly capture the atmosphere of the movie. For some of the original cast, this is their first appearance in an Alien video game. Seeing them reprise those roles after 35 years was an unforgettable experience.”
The main game stars, among others, Ripley's daughter Amanda, and you can find out more about the cast here.
Alien Isolation launches for PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One on October 7th.
