Bioware made a lot of reveals forDragon Age 3 Inquisition. We’re going to keep a steady pace with each reveal so you don’t get overwhelmed by all of it.
First off, they revealed the voice actors for the Inquisitors, although they dropped short of naming who does which character. We have one British male voice actor, Harry Hadden-Paton, one American male voice actor, Jon Curry, one female actor, Sumalee Montano, and Alix Wilton Regan, who is a British female voice actor. Of course, on top of this we also know about Freddie Prinze Jr, who is voicing Iron Bull.
Now we get to the meaty stuff. Cassandra and Cullen have both been confirmed to be romance options, but only straight ones. On a separate tweet, they revealed that there will be eight romances overall, and two of them will have racial preferences, for storyline reasons. Of course, the two romances with racial preferences and the two romances possible with Cassandra and Cullen each are not necessarily mutually exclusive. Of course, this could just be referring to Iron Bull and Solas.
And now, the big reveal: Scribbles’ real name has finally been revealed! Josephine Montilyet is an old friend of Sister Leliana, recruited to do the non action video game stuff for the Inquisition. She is essentially the party’s ambassador/diplomat, the mediator and peacekeeper. Her job is to help raise the Inquisition’s reputation in Thedas, and handle the paperwork and schmoozing up the nobles in Thedas, so you can stick to the action game stuff. Of course, this does not always rub the other Inquisition members the right way, but the cool thing is she knows how to handle that too.
The cool thing about Josephine is she was intentionally created to have a non-warrior character in the game. If you’ve been enjoying what you’ve read so far, you’ll be really happy to know that Josephine is open to romances with all genders, and all races.
So, are you sold on this game yet? Dragon Age 3 Inquisition is coming October 7 to Windows, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3 and PS4.
