Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution, Bandai Namco's beastly fighting game based on the long-running Naruto manga, is officially set for a September 16 release here in the States. Sporting a massive 118 playable characters, the chances of your favorite shinobi from the series 15-year history being included are pretty high. In fact, some oft-requested but frequently overlooked characters, like Naruto's teacher Iruka and his mother Kushina, will be making their grand debut in Revolution.
Naruto's strength has always been in how unique each ninja's individual abilities are from another — saying that the manga plays loose with the conept of "ninpo" is a hilarious understatement! Seeing each character strut their stuff for the first time is as much a joy to watch as it is to actually play. To that end, we are going to post videos of all the combatants' complete movesets in this post, which will be updated as more become available.
These clips come courtesy of YouTube channel ShippudenAllStar, which has so far uploaded videos for three newcomers and two returning vets. There's Iruka and Kushina, of course, as well as Shisui, an important trigger in fan-favorite Itachi's development who's only seen in flashbacks in the main series. Back after a long hiatus is the young Konohamaru, whose idolization of Naruto is reflected in repertoire. Then there's Obito, one of the series major antagonists who appeared in previous games as the masked man "Tobi."
Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution will arrive on PS3, Xbox 360, and PC once September 16 rolls around.
