Evolve Closed Alpha Now Accepting Participants

July 4, 2014 by Ian Miles Cheong

The closed alpha for Evolve is now accepting participants.

Evolve developers Turtle Rock are hosting a closed alpha test for the game this month, and have announced that they are now accepting applications to participate in the test.

Developed by the makers of Left 4 Dead, Evolve is a 4v1 first person shooter in which four players must attempt to take down a single, powerful monster controlled by another player.

To be eligible for the test, you’ll have to live in North America, have a valid Steam account, and be willing to turn up on time for the testing events as they’ll be held according to a strict schedule. You’ll also have to abide by a Game Demo Participant Agreement so you have to be willing to keep your lips sealed and not leak information about the game to the public once you get your hands on the closed alpha.

If you can agree to the terms above, just head on over to the sign up page and use the password “happyhunting” to log in.

The game is out on the PC, Xbox One and PS4 in October.

Be sure to check out our E3 2014 preview of the game.
