Blizzard announced Monday that the first wave of early access invitations were being distributed to a limited number of players outside the US, including those who opted to play the alpha through battle.net.
In addition to the new invites, Blizzard has updated its in-game Heroes Shop with support for more local currencies and payment methods. The Heroes Shop allows players to purchase new playable characters as well as cosmetic skins for real money.
Blizzard’s also released a new trailer of Heroes of the Storm to go along with the news of the invites. It details the game’s revised talent system, showing how players can choose between a set list of talents at each level instead of leveling up individual abilities and statistics.
