Fans have found teasers in Titanfall’s latest patch that hint at possible newand upcoming game modes.
Bear in mind that this is literally text and script found in the code. Nothing is confirmed, but of course, one would wonder why the code is there if these modes won’t be added to the game.
· Wingman Last Titan Standing
Last team standing who still has a Titan.
· Marked For Death
One pilot is marked for death, everyone guns for him or her.
· Titan Tag
· Capture The Titan
Capture the Titan (apparently there’s only one for this mode) and bring it to your base.
· Bodyguard
· Big Brother
Attack and defend the control panel (apparently on your or the opponent’s base)
There are no descriptions for Bodyguard or Titan Tag. However, there is more text relating to some of these modes.
For Capture The Titan, there are apparent objectives to get the team Titan to the capture point, and not to let the enemy Titan reach the capture point. This might be a variant mode.
Bodyguard mode has the words TITAN_ESCORT associated to it.
Capture The Titan and Bodyguard both have these words associated to it: Guard, Secure, Hold, Steal, Intercept. These sound like orders given to individual players.
Finally Big Brother has this description connected to it:
· The program was stopped.
· You launched the virus.
· Defend the panel.
· The virus has been launched.
· The clock is ticking.
· A teammate launched the virus.
· Hack the panel before it finishes.
