We have a new trailer for Tripwire Interactive’s upcoming violent shooter, Killing Floor 2. It shows off a lot of the enemies created by Horzine Biotech that you will get to take down as you run down pestilence-infested Europe.
It’s all good stuff, if by good you mean gruesome and graphic and really ultraviolent. The five new monsters we get to see in the trailer are the Clot, Crawler, Cyst, Fleshpound, and the Slasher.
The Clots resemble humans more the most other monsters, although that really isn’t saying much. They can go through ventilation shafts and can move really fast.
The Slashers seem to be a little more grounded, but what they lack in mobility they make up in agility, sharp fingers, and overall freakiness.
The Crawlers will really freak you out, so named because they crawl on all fours instead of standing up right. They’ve also given up complete lower jaws in lieu of sharp The Fly-like appendages on their backs. They also seem able to crawl on walls.
The Cysts appear to be the most benign monsters, although that is again not saying much. It looks like these things will actually be the helpless ones in front of you, but they do eat humans, so don’t think you can make friends.
Finally, the Fleshpounds are probably going to be the real crowdpleasers here. Metal and flesh gets amalgamated in truly twisted ways, and giving up hands for sharp spinning forelimbs means these guys will be formidable threats.
Tripwire has yet to reveal platforms or release dates, but we will keep you up to date on the latest on Killing Floor 2. Check out the full trailer below.
