Miiverse Posts Can Now Be Embedded in Web Pages

June 25, 2014 by Tony Ponce

New update to the Wii U and 3DS social network also allows you to disable “Yeahs” from appearing in your activity feed.

Nintendo continues to update its Miiverse service on Wii U and 3DS to better serve its users, but this latest update also serves users that use Miiverse on their PC. Today's announcement reads as follows:

See that embedded Miiverse post above? We couldn't do that yesterday! Now we'll be able to directly share Miiverse entries via HTML code not unlike Twitter tweets.

Furthermore, your User Page profile in the web version of Miiverse will now match the look of your profile on the Wii U and 3DS versions. The update also reduces the number of "Yeahs" — the Miiverse equivalent of Facebook "Likes" — that appear in your activity feed to reduce clutter. Should you want to keep your feed completely clean, you'll have the option to disable them from appearing entirely.
