We have new details for you regarding the costume DLC and demos for Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution.
Namco just announced that a demo for the game will be released on Japanese PSN over two months before its official release in September 11. The demo will come with six characters, including Mecha Naruto, Sasuke, Kakashi, and Tailed Beast Mode Naruto, complete with Minato and Kushina support. The demo will be available between July 2 to 23.
Most interestingly, the demo will come with online modes! Perhaps this is also partly a test of their online system, but it is awfully generous for what it is.
On the DLC end, Namco has revealed that several of the costumes will be available as preorder / day one bonuses in US, Europe and Japan. These costumes include costume switched Naruto and Sasuke, Samurai Naruto, Samurai Sakura, and Samurai Sasuke. You can check out those costumes in this magazine scan below.
The demo has only been confirmed on Japanese PSN, but I’m sure many of you already know the trick to adding a Japanese PSN account to your non-Japanese console, so that you can try this out. If I can warrant a guess, however, I suspect Namco will also release a demo in the US, and it won’t be long before or after the Japanese demo period. And what about a demo on Xbox Live Arcade and Steam? I guess we'll just have to wait and find out.
Naruto Storm Revolution will be available on Windows, Playstation 3, and Xbox 360.
