According to the PlayStation Blog, Spark Plug Games' upcoming aracde action game MechRunner will be making its debut on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.
"MechRunner tells the story of a rogue scientist and his niece who build a 40-foot tall mode-changing mech in order to fight back against an invading robotic army fueled by a mysterious alien power source. The mech — called the XP-41 — can change between tank and robot modes on the fly and both are capable of massive destruction," the game is described. Interestingly, the protagonist is a female mech pilot named Allison.
Some of the features are detailed in the game as:

The game will also have players constantly moving forward whilst tracking down enemies. There are also obstacles you must avoid as you soldier on the game. There will also be a variety of weapons featured with its own pros and cons.
