Sony surprised everyone at the E3 2014 press conference, ending it with none other than footage of a much-anticipated sequel to the Uncharted series of games.
Titled Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, players once again assume the role of Nathan Drake, who finds himself “out of the game” and wants back in several years after his last adventure.
With the stakes much more personal, and a wedding ring clearly to be seen on his finger, Drake embarks on a globe-trotting journey in pursuit of a historical conspiracy behind a fabled pirate treasure. Or at least that’s what the official description in the trailer seems to indicate.
He calls up his old friend Sully, and together they head into pirate territory, some of which can be seen in the trailer—all of which was shot entirely on the PS4. It’s not CGI, Sony promises.
