EA Drops New Dragon Age: Inquisition Footage and Information

June 9, 2014 by Yesika Reyes

We get to see the combat, characters, and better glimpses of the game.

Following the release of Dragon Age: Inquisition footage from Microsoft's E3 press conference, EA unveiled more footage of their own and it shows more than what we saw an hour ago.

We got an extended look at the trailer that was shown during Microsoft's event. However, the highlight was the footage showcasing the combat and characters featured in the game. Combat is impressive and it appears to apply the best of both worlds from the first two Dragon Age games. It has the immediacy of Dragon Age II and the tactical accessibility from Dragon Age: Origins. Players will be able to use a tactical camera that "removes time from the equation" since players can devise their strategy while the game is paused.

The developer also reiterated that the game boasts a "powerful narrative" that is meshed with an "expansive open world gameplay." Additionally, new characters in the franchise also got the spotlight.

Dragon Age: Inquisition will be released on October 7th for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
