Killer Instinct: Season 2 Kicks Off With TJ Combo Punching It Out

June 9, 2014 by Ryan Parreno

The originator of the Dial-A-Combo is back, and he’s got an awesome manstache.

Microsoft has just confirmed in the E3 pre-event that TJ Combo is the next character to be coming in to Killer Instinct for Xbox One, the 1st one for Season 2.

The trailer reveals TJ Combo talking smack about Ultratech and taking down Fulgore, following the convention of the last announced fighter getting beat by the new one. The trailer ends with TJ shouting ‘that all you got Ultratech?’ and then turning around to face….

Combo reveals his own background in the game as well. It’s been a long time since his glory years as a boxer, and he hints at ‘taking shortcuts’ to get there, and feeling hollow at the end, and losing everything. This time he’s not after glory, but redemption.

I gotta say, on a personal note, the ‘stache is mantastic.

Killer Instinct remains an Xbox One exclusive. We’ll make sure to keep you up to date when we get a release date for TJ Combo, and if he’s coming with some other content. Check out the full trailer below.
